Our History
Camillus Medhaven is a Senior Living Community composed of 3 facilities: Camillus Medhaven Nursing Home (Main), Camillus MedHaven Nursing Home Dementia Village (Annex), and Camillus MedHaven Nursing Home Antipolo. It is run and owned by the Order of the Ministers of the Sick popularly known as Camillians whose mission is to manifest the merciful love of Christ to the sick. The Order is present to more than 38 countries and continues more than 400 years of caring with heart in our hands in various hospitals, polyclinics, care for PLHIV & AIDS, and involved themselves in disaster response and community-based healthcare programs.
The Camillus Difference
Camillus MedHaven started in 2006 as a Nursing Home and further developed as a premier Senior Living Community in the country serving the elderly both from the islands and abroad. It provides Independent and Assisted Living, Dementia Care, Skilled Nursing, Palliative, and Hospice Care in a community wrapped in the vastness of nature. Camillus MedHaven provides comprehensive care to elderly residents. Health and daily care are catered by our qualified and trained geriatric staff and caregivers, in-house physicians, and affiliated hospital St. Camillus Medical Center. It is awarded as Best Trusted Nursing Home 2022 by the Golden Globe Awards for Business and Leadership Excellence.
Our Years Of Caring
The establishment of St. Camillus Home of Charity provided a home to abandoned paraplegic and quadriplegic patients of the Philippine Orthopedic Center.
1992
The shift into a private Nursing Home of 40 beds providing aged care services not exclusive to persons with disabilities.
2006
The construction of additional buildings expanded its capacity to 104 beds paving the way to being a premier Senior Living Community in the country serving the elderly both from islands and abroad.
2010
The opening of another branch, Camillus Medhaven Nursing Home Annex, housing the first full concept of Dementia Village in the country.
2019
Camillus Medhaven becomes the biggest private Nursing Home in the Philippines with 185 beds and the provider of the most comprehensive aged care services, independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, dementia care, physio rehabilitation, convalescent and palliative care, and hospice care.
2020
Camillus MedHaven Nursing Home opens its third branch in Antipolo. The first private nursing home in the City that provides comprehensive care to elderly residents. With health and daily care catered by our qualified Geriatric Staff, Caregivers, and in-house Physician, it offers the lowest care packages with the same Camillian way of caring.
